one thing that was hard is writing the words something that i found easy is doing the enbed stuff

Finding the Area of a Shape

WALT find the area of a shape in square centimeters.

We explored shapes by covering them with square centimeter cubes and counting how many cubes it took to cover the shape.

We then drew shapes on grid paper and counted how many squares our shapes covered.  

Reflection: it was hard getting the right number of squares, it was easy counting the cubes

WALT retell fairy tales in Te Reo Maori
WALT make a movie using iMovie

We created this to help celebrate Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori (Maori Language Week)
We created this by taking a video of the little puppets moving.  Then we took off any background noise and recorded our voices saying the Te Reo Maori for the fairy tale. We then added titles to show the English translation and who made the video.



Reflection. some thing that i did was good writing.another thing I did well was  moving the puppets.

why sholud we plant trees

WALT explanations have special parts.

we created this to explain why we should plant trees.

 It is important to plant trees I will explain why. Trees give us oxygen we need oxygen to breth or we wood die.Trees make wood so we can build homes and also  boats,fires paper and give us apples and bananas.

Reflection: I found the capital letter easy. The voice typing was hard.

WALT created a drawing in google drawings.

We created this to show our learning using slides and google drawing.
It was wonderful to have Tuatara come in and help us with Google Drawings.  It was hard to put the information into our own words.  Google drawings was sometimes frustrating!

Family story Animation

We have been learning about our families.
We have been learning the stories of our families.
  We have been learning to tell stories though animations in Slides.
 We have been learning to record using Screencastify.

we created this because we wanted to be able to share and save the special stories from our family





two things i think I did well are choosing my backgrounds and making the bulldozer move.

Next time i would like to try this again and get better at it.
